Lewis Land Surveying was formed in 2007 by Leighton Lewis, a Licensed Surveyor with over twenty five years of experience in the surveying industry.
Leighton and his dedicated team provide high quality, detailed surveys and use only the lastest digital Trimble robotic total stations, GPS equipment and software ensuring the most efficient and accurate results are obtained.
The latest CAD software and plotters enable high quality plans and reports to be provided in both hard copy and digital format.
Lewis Land Surveying has extensive experience in a range of projects from small developments through to multi-lot subdivisions and commercial construction projects.
Based in Eltham and Diamond Creek, we have extensive experience in the Diamond Valley area, as well as in Melbourne's growth corridors and the inner North and West. We have carried out surveys all over greater Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula and throughout Victoria.
Lewis Land Surveying is a Member Firm of the Association of Consulting Surveyors, Victoria and Leighton is a Member of the Institute of Surveyors, Victoria. Leighton is a Registered Licensed Surveyor with the Surveyors Registration Board of Victoria, and has a Bachelors Degree in Land Information (Surveying) from RMIT.
Michelle Lewis has a Bachelors Degree in Land Information (Cartography) from RMIT. Michelle manages our business and works closely with our clients to manage the subdivisions. Michelle liaises with the clients, councils and referral authorities to facilitate the smooth and efficient progress of each project.
Following the tragic bushfires of February 2009, Lewis Land Surveying participated in the Surveyor General's volunteer Bushfire Task Force, re-establishing Cadastral Survey Marks throughout Kinglake, and has since done a great deal of work in the Kinglake and St Andrews area, re-establishing boundaries and undertaking Feature and Level Surveys for the important tasks of rebuilding fences and homes.
